Field of Light Uluṟu Experience General Admission
Step into an otherworldly dreamscape as Bruce Munro’s Field of Light marks its 10‑year anniversary in 2026. A decade of transforming the desert at Uluṟu into a shimmering canvas of 50,000 solar‑powered stems glowing across an area the size of seven football fields. First unveiled in 2016 and originally intended as a temporary artwork, the installation has now welcomed more than 750,000 visitors, becoming Munro’s longest‑running and most iconic creation. To celebrate the milestone, Ayers Rock Resort is rolling out a year of special events, including artist‑led introductions and live Q&A sessions. An immersive, luminous tribute to place, culture and imagination, shining brighter than ever at Australia’s spiritual heart.

Airfares are based on the best available airfare at time of publication and are subject to availability & change. Flights may not be direct or operate daily. Air surcharges apply during Australian school holidays and other peak travel periods. Applicable charges will apply for changes. Tickets are non-refundable at all times.

*Accommodation
Breakfast and Field of Light General Admission cannot be added to bookings for children or any additional guests prior to check-in. All extra charges related to accompanying child(ren) and any extra adult rates are the responsibility of the Guest in addition to any payments already made and are payable directly to Desert Gardens Hotel upon check-in.

*Field of Light Uluṟu Experience General Admission
Field of Light General Admission: Touring will be booked for the first night of stay, in the event the tour is not available that night Desert Garden Hotel reservations staff will contact you.

*Child Policy
Accommodation
Children 15 years and under at time of check-in stay free when using existing bedding at Desert Gardens Hotel.
Extra person rate applies for additional rollaway beds.
When only one adult is travelling with one child, the sole use adult rate will apply to the booking.

Meals
Buffet breakfast: Children 4 years and under at time of check-in, who are accompanied by a full paying adult, may enjoy a free buffet breakfast at buffet breakfast restaurants.
Children 5-15 years receive reduced breakfast price. A maximum of one (1) child per full paying adult applies.
Lunch and dinner: Specially priced children’s menus are available at selected restaurants for lunch and dinner.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all restaurants.

Voyages Experiences
Field of Light General Admission: Children under 2 years attend free of charge. The child rate applies for ages 2 to 15 years.  Field of Light General Admission entry can be purchased for A$39 per child, payable directly to the resort.

Cancellation Charges
Please note, cancelled bookings will incur charges. Our travel service providers are entitled to impose cancellation charges, which can be up to 100% of the amount paid to them for the relevant service, regardless of whether travel has commenced. If any refunds are received from travel service providers, they will be passed on to you, less a minimum cancellation fee. Please refer to the Cancellation Policy on general terms & conditions.
