At Husk, we are farmers as well as distillers. Husk Rum is one of the world’s only single estate, farm to bottle spirits. Join us for an immersive learning experience about our land, history, and rum.

Cane knife in hand you’ll learn how we grow our cane, how we harvest, mill, ferment, and barrel age. Go behind the scenes to see our full scale operations including our harvesting shed, sugar mill, and distillery.

You’ll juice your own specifically harvested stalk of cane, taste the region in your first sip, and enjoy it in a refreshing cocktail to finish off all your hard farming work.

*Tropical Fruit World Farm Tour
Your journey begins with a stroll along our edible garden path, followed by our much-loved fruit tasting experience, where you will learn about and taste a range of in season exotic fruits. From there, climb aboard our tractor train and travel through our 240-acre tropical fruit farm, home to more than 550 varieties of exotic fruit from around the world.

Along the way, your guide will share the story of the farm, the fruit we grow, and the changing seasons, with opportunities to enjoy fresh fruit tastings depending on what is in harvest. During the tour, you will have the chance to pick a banana straight from the bunch and crack fresh macadamia nuts, before continuing by tractor down to our Fauna Park. Here, you can meet friendly farm and native animals and enjoy an animal feeding experience, Before heading off on a peaceful wildlife boat cruise through our bushland valley.

The tour then arrives at The Island, where you will have free time to explore. Children can enjoy the flying fox, mini putt-putt, sandpit and play equipment, while adults can wander the gardens, explore our self-guided native bush foods walk, or simply relax in the boathouse seating area overlooking the canal.

After your island experience, refresh with a cool lemon myrtle water before hopping back aboard the tractor for the return journey to the iconic Big Avocado.

To round out your visit, we recommend browsing our farm retail market, stocked with farm-made products and fresh produce, or enjoying a farm-to-table meal at our café, made using ingredients grown right here on the farm.

KEY INFORMATION
Accessibility: This is a working farm with some uneven surfaces. Guests must be comfortable walking at least 150 metres unassisted and able to board tour vehicles independently. Prams, strollers, wheelchairs and walking frames cannot be taken on tour vehicles and must be checked in at the Tours Desk.
